Description
Ledaig 10 is produced in the Tobermory distillery on the island of Mull. Originally opened in 1798 the distillery has changed hands several times. While the majority of the whisky produced is unpeated Tobermory distillery produces a peated version which is branded as Ledaig.
Nose - Sweet briny smokiness with a distinct island character that hints at antiseptic, creosote, wax polish, mint chocolate and floral seaside aromas.
Palate - Tantalisingly sweet yet medicinal flavours release sparks of spicy pepper with peaty smoke and vanilla malty creaminess.
Finish - Spicy white pepper and sweet vibrant liquorice and cloves with a lingering saltiness.
